If you register, Newsig stores your email address and a hashed password. Newsig preferences such as language, theme and watchlist are stored locally in your browser unless the product explicitly says otherwise.

We use this information to authenticate users, remember preferences, operate the service, keep it secure and improve the product. We do not sell personal information or use third-party advertising profiles.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while the account is active. You can request deletion by emailing [email protected]. Backups may remain for a limited period for operational recovery.
